Plan a response you can finish
Use preparation time to identify the situation, your main point, and the details that will support it. Avoid trying to write a complete script before recording. A short plan gives you room to speak naturally and keeps you focused on answering the prompt.
Record in your browser
Choose a quiet space and allow microphone access when you decide to record. Practise maintaining a steady pace and completing your response within the recording time. If you lose your place, return to the main point rather than restarting the whole answer. Familiarity with the recording flow makes each later attempt easier to manage.
Review clarity before adding complexity
CELPIP mock speaking can receive AI feedback depending on your plan. Use it to identify something you can change in the next recording, such as developing an idea or organising your response more clearly. Repeat the exercise with a fresh prompt to check whether the improvement transfers. Practice feedback and score estimates are not official CELPIP results.
